Great News.

We just heard from Dr. Nygarrd, that Liv's bilirubin has went down 10 points to 6. What a relief!! I am so glad. She does need to get checked when she is 4 months old, to make sure it is where it needs to be. Also more blood work when she is 6 months to see if her blood is prematurely dying still. There are a few things the doc has told us it could be: Hereditary Spherocytosis or Gilbert syndrome. The best way to explain it, is to Google it... But very good news about the bilirubin.

Christmas Tree Adventure

The boys had so much fun searching for the perfect Christmas tree. This year we went to Jacob's Lake. It was so beautiful. Trees everywhere. Liv and I stay in the truck. I don't want her to freeze!! I am not a fan of the cold, so I am glad that Liv and I get to hang out with the heater...

Here she is:

The moment we have all waited for:
Liv Adele Skinner
Born October 23 2009
At 3:22 AM
Weighing in at 6lbs 15 oz
Length of 18 1/2 inches
I can't believe she is so small. She fit into preemie diapers in the hospital. The outfit we had for her to go home in, it drown her and it was newborn size. She had a full head of black hair. I thought that was exciting, now I need to learn how to do hair and girly things:)
Linkin was thrilled when we brought her home. He had to hold her right away. Lucas was also very happy to have everybody back together. He spent just the right amount of time with his cousins that he missed me and dad.

Look at those super chucky cheeks. She gets that from me.

Liv has bad Jaundice. We have had her on bililights (pictured) for 3 days now, hopeing that her numbers come down. Everyday we have to go to the lab and get her bilirubin tested. That is where they stab her heel and collect a 1/2 ml of blood. Yeah EVERYDAY since she was born. Not fun for anyone. Other than the jaundice she is healthy and beautiful.

Happy Halloween...

Linkin and Lucas.. I had a blast painting Linkin's face. He was such a good sport even though I thought it might look silly, he loved it.. It turned out pretty good for a first time Vampire Mom.Lucas Iron Man, Linkin the Vampire, Chaiden is a bum and Brinleigh is a hippie. Our little gang. We have went trick or treating with these guys for 3 years. It is always so much fun. We go find the big candybars..

Cookies with Lucas

We had so much fun making sugar cookies. Lucas had his own special dough. He could roll it, eat it really whatever he wanted to do. He decided it would be fun to roll the dough on his tummy. That was hilarious.. He finally finished and we put the cookie in the oven. He couldn't wait for it to be done baking. When the cookie finally cooled. He frosted it. He did a really good job. (Proud mom) He put sprinkles on too. What a blast!

Linkin's 1st day in 2nd grade...

Linkin was so excited for school. He was up by 7:00am, all dressed and ready to go to school. We were informed that he got to ride the bus this year. But he doesn't start riding it until January, when the new Hurricane Elementary is built. He was disappointed but he is still happy that he gets to ride a bus at all.Breakfast of champions. Lucas was just as excited as Linkin. They both had their bags packed and ready to run when I told them it was time.
Walking to the bus stop just to walk back home and get a ride to school.

Here is Linkin ready to get to school.

Lucas and I didn't know what to do now that Linkin was back in school. We played around alot.

We had a great time. We were happy to get Linkin back at 3:30.

Trip to Idaho..

Kolton, Lucas, Linkin and Jacob, just sitting back relaxing after the long trip. Lucas was so excited to see his cousins. He was jumping up and down when they got to Grandma's house.
Lucas was helping his dad drive to Dead Wood. It was about 4 hours away from Meridian. The dirt road took forever.. Nobody fell asleep driving this time, SO HAPPY! We camped in Dead Wood with Aaron's family, thirteen altogether. We stayed for two nights. It was a lot of fun.

The river was so huge. It made the Virgin River look like a tiny stream..

The boys did so well on the ride to, from and back again. I swear we were in the truck the whole time we were in Idaho..

The scenery was so beautiful. The rapids were so big. Next time we go back up we will probably go rafting. I don't know, it looks super scary!! But whatever you only live once, RIGHT??

Birthday Boys!!!

This year we spent Lucas' and Aaron's birthday up in the mountains. Lucas turned 3 on August 1st and Aaron is now 29, on August 2. So much fun.

Lucas got his first bike. He was thrilled.

Chasta got tired, so Linkin decided to help Lucas pull her in the wagon.

James and Annie, Christa's two little ones, just finishing up lunch in the rain storm..

Lucas made sure we were on the right path. He was in charge of the map.

Linkins 7th Birthday.

Linkin had the best birthday ever.
What a way to spend it, at Pirates Island.

Really up-close.

The pirate hats were my favorite.

This is Brinleigh and Lucas after a water balloon fight at Linkin's friend party.

They were freezing!!

This started it all, the shirts and beanies, were a gift from Grandma Margaret.
Kaden, my nephew, took state in wrestling.
He is a freshman at Weiser High School, in Idaho.

Look at these kids, they are so dirty. We went to get our tires rotated and they got to play in the tires.. What a life for a boy!!
Lucas looks like he has brown hair, that is how dirty he is. Linkin isn't as dirty, but still having a great time.

linkins first soccer game

This was Linkins first game. He was a little timid at first then he got crazy...
I think he likes to be the center of attention. He was talking more than running around, playing soccer. Well whatever he is doing. I love that kid.
